    Read inspiring stories about students who became global ambassadors for light.

    Read stories about solar energy that have been provided by students and individuals
    from around the world.

     

    Globe Program
    GLOBE involves students from over 80 countries in collecting local environmental data.
    Observations are shared between schools and with scientists via the Internet.

    Tunza
    U.N. Environment Program magazine for young people that focuses on topics related to
    sustainable living. Read articles written by and for teens around the world.

    The Green Squad
    This NRDC website (also available in Spanish) shows students how to identify and solve environmental problems. Guided by four environmentally conscious students known as the “Green Squad,” students can explore a virtual school, and use the mouse to locate potential hazards. The teacher room offers a wide range of fact sheets and environmental resources.

    Dr. E’s Energy Lab
    A monkey named Dr. E will teach you about renewable energy and energy efficiency at this U.S. Department of Energy site. Dr. E offers up online resources for everything from alternative fuels to solar energy.
